How do I generate reports?

 

Choose your Database from the Dashboard. Click on the Reports tab. Then choose which Report you want to view.

In Paper Tiger Online, you can view Item List Report, Action Date Report, Transfer Report, and Cleanout Report.

Item List Report

See all the information contained in your database in a variety of ways. Using the advanced options, this report can be fully customized to meet your needs. For quick reference, a copy of this report can be kept at your desk, in your briefcase, on your file cabinet or close to any physical item (storage boxes, etc.) that you having indexed with Paper Tiger.

In the Item List Report, you can choose to show or print a Report from a specific Location, Category or Action Date. You can also choose to have the Report sorted by Item Number, Item Name, or Action Date. In addition to the Item Number and Item Name, you can also choose other columns to display, such as Keywords, Notes, Category, Action Date.

Action Date Report

If you have set Action Dates while indexing your items in Paper Tiger filing system software, use this customizable report to see all Action Dates and Reminders.

In the Action Date Report, you can choose to show or print a Report from a specific Location, Category or Action Date. You can also choose to have the Report sorted by Item Number, Item Name, or Action Date.

Transfer Report

See all pending transfers within your database. Print this report and use it to confirm that the physical items were moved, or use as a checklist when moving your physical items. Transfers include Move, Merge, Duplicate and Toss.

Cleanout Report

If you have set up the software to remind you when your physical items (file cabinets, storage boxes, etc.) need to be cleaned out, this report will make the task much easier.

You can customize Reports by choosing the 'Show advanced options' link. This will bring up more options for you to choose to display.

In the Cleanout Report, you can choose to show or print a Report from a specific Location, Category or Action Date. You can also choose to have the Report sorted by Item Number, Item Name, or Action Date.
