  • What credit card types do you accept?
  • We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover Network.


  • Do you accept Purchase Orders or payment by check?
  • We accept POs from large companies, non-profits, government agencies and schools/colleges/universities for annual payments. You can email or fax your PO to us at sales@thepapertiger.com or fax at 815 331-5270. If you have questions, please email sales@thepapertiger.com.


  • Do you have special pricing for non-profits, universities, or other groups in need?
  • We believe everyone is entitled to the best possible price we can offer. Those are the prices you’ll find on the signup page. Our prices are among the lowest in the industry.


  • Can we pay for Paper Tiger Online a year in advance?
  • You can pay monthly or annually. Invoices are automatically emailed to the account owner every time you are charged.


  • What happens if I upgrade or downgrade in the middle of a billing cycle?
  • When you upgrade in the middle of a billing cycle, you will be charged the pro-rated amount of the difference depending on the amount of time you have on that subscription, and you will have access to the upgraded plan immediately. Your account page will show the new amount of your subscription and the date that the charge will be made in the next billing cycle.

    When you downgrade, you don’t begin paying the lower rate until next month’s bill. To downgrade you must contact us at sales@thepapertiger.com.



  • What is the refund policy? How does your refund policy work?
  • If you have paid annually, you will receive refund prorated based on the remaining month(s) available. We do not offer refunds for canceling a monthly plan in the middle of a billing cycle.



  • Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?
  • We do not charge signup fees, termination fees, or any additional fees. Paper Tiger Online is charged per month or you can pay annually. We offer a discount for paying annually. There are no other hidden fees. Please see our PRICING/PLANS page.



  • Do you have a free trial so that I can see how Paper Tiger works before purchasing?
  • We have a limited free account of Paper Tiger Online that you can try. If you decide you want or need more than what the free account allows, you can upgrade any time. If you decide to cancel, you can export your database to .XML format. We permanently delete your database from our server after cancellation. The free account can be subscribed to from our PRICING/PLANS page. Please see the link under the pricing plan boxes noted 'We also have a FREE FOREVER plan with 1 database/location/user.' You can view the Comparison Chart on the PRICING/PLANS page as well.



  • How will billing occur if we add users within a billing cycle?
  • Paper Tiger Online multi-user plans are now available. If you have a single user plan and upgrade to one of the multi-user plans, your card on file will be charged the pro-rated amount for the difference of cost depending on the amount of time left in your current subscription. The administrator of the account will instantly be able to see a new tab on the Dashboard for People/Permissions where new users can be invited and permissions set.
